For reasons known only to whoever decides these things, the National Council Of Churches Nobody Goes To Anymore weighs in on Brett Kavanaugh.
The National Council of Churches (NCC) calls for the withdrawal of the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court of the United States. We believe he has disqualified himself from this lifetime appointment and must step aside immediately.
Why is that?
We note several reasons for this. During his appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Judge Kavanaugh exhibited extreme partisan bias and disrespect towards certain members of the committee and thereby demonstrated that he possesses neither the temperament nor the character essential for a member of the highest court in our nation.
If anyone ever implied or came right out and said that I was a gang rapist and a drunk, I have to think that I'd be a little cranky myself. But it's good to know that if anyone ever suggested that the NCCNGTA makes its money by creating and selling kiddie porn, the NCCNGTA would be totally cool about it. After all, Christians must always display a Christian "temperament" and "character."
In addition, his testimony before the Judiciary Committee included several misstatements and some outright falsehoods, some in relation to accusations of sexual misconduct.
We read it on Twitter.
All citizens must be expected to speak truthfully when under oath,
Even those who suddenly remember incidents that they claim happened almost 40 years ago.
however, this is especially true for anyone who seeks a seat on the Supreme Court.
Unless he's Satan in which case party on, Garth.
Moreover, Judge Kavanaugh’s extensive judicial and political record is troubling with regard to issues of voting rights, racial and gender justice, health care, the rights of people with disabilities, and environmental protections. This leads us to believe that he cannot be an impartial justice in cases that are sure to come before him at the Court.
Because he'll actually read and impartially apply the law as written rather than vote the way we tell him to.
Therefore the National Council of Churches calls for the withdrawal of Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court immediately.
I'm sure Trump will get right on that. But do you know what's even funnier? The Hill actually thinks this leftist crap is newsworthy.

What was even funnier was some Twitter idiot citing the NCC as a conservative group.
The uproar about juvenile comments in Kavanaugh's high school yearbook makes these critics look both juvenile and stupid. For one thing, classmates are pointing out that the comments meant what Kavanaugh said they meant. Urban Dictionary definitions from 35 years later don't apply, you fools.
I see the NCC disapproval as an endorsement.
