I have family living in Thousand Oaks. They were three miles from the Borderline shooting, and now they're three miles from the fire lines. The wind is blowing towards Malibu at this time. All Californians need to be alert during fire season. What happened to those people in Paradise, north of Sacramento, is horrible. Last year's massive Ventura County fire burned to 400 yards of my sister's house and then stopped.
May God have mercy on the dead and preserve the living. May God guard the firefighters.
They're better off in this fire (two dead) than the Paradise fire in northern California, where twenty-three bodies have been found. There may be more.
