Yeah, if someone lobs 650 or so missiles at your country, causing property damage, death, and injury, you should just shut up and not fight back. This is an insane point of view.
Why are they not "free?" How much more free can they get? And yet, the people that go along with this will nod their heads and pity the poor Palestinians who aren't "free." There's definitely cognitive dissonance here.
Of course, had they wanted their own state, they could have had it in 2008 or 2000. They could have built on what they were handed in 2004. They could have negotiated for terms in 1978. Again, they could have capitalized on opportunities in 1972 and 1976. They did not, because 'freedom' has never been what they wanted. Revenge is what they want.
