Got news for you there, Edward R. [I saw what you did. Sweet. - Ed] The painful fact is that OANN told the truth which I guess would be "shameful" to a Democratic Party house stenographer like you. Because that is precisely what is going on.
Your "profession" had it in for Trump since long before anyone knew what the Chinese Flu was and well before he was even inaugurated. Remember Russian "collusion?" Remember the 25th Amendment debates? Remember the Mueller Report? Remember the relentless lies told about Brett Kavanaugh which you went ahead and reported as fact? Remember all those books that were going to "blow the lid off" the Trump Administration and, well, didn't?

You Democratic Party house stenographers ran with that one for a long time. No wonder our response to the virus has been so poor, our idiot president shut down the pandemic response office. Except that he didn't, something that a little actual journalism would have quickly discovered. But never let a good anti-Trump tidbit go to waste, even if it's crap.
Nowadays, we have a full-blown pandemic floating around out there so how do American journalists choose to cover it? By obsessing over whether calling the Chinese Flu the Chinese Flu is "racist." Because that's what concerns everybody in the whole wide world, Bri-Bri. Not the health of their families or friends who might possibly get sick and maybe even die of a disease that began in China and was thoroughly botched by China, resulting in deaths all over the world.
Everybody everywhere is only concerned whether or not Communist liars claim to be offended by the way people label a disease. That's the real story here.
UPDATE: Guess what, Phil. That's exactly what's happening. As far most of us are concerned, American "journalists" are on the same moral level as WWII Nazi collaborators.
