AMERICAN "JOURNALISM"

Due process, schmoo process, sniffs ABC's Matt Dowd.

Enough with the “he said, she said” storyline. If this is he said, she said, then let’s believe the she in these scenarios. She has nothing to gain, and everything to lose. For 250 years we have believed the he in these scenarios. Enough is enough.

She has nothing to gain but destroying a decent man and becoming a left-wing heroine. Plus, she sounds like she's nuts. Thirty years later she remembers these two men, but nothing else? And this was in the course of marriage therapy. No doubt she thought she could get sympathy for her emotional pain from the incident she never mentioned to anyone for thirty years. Even as described by her (according to reports), it wasn't bad enough to justify her alleged decades-long distress.

This is like the Rolling Stone article about rape at UVA which turned out to be imaginary. At the very least, any man accused of sexual misconduct deserves due process, on campus or in the Senate hearing room. If Matthew Dowd can't see that, he should stop reporting and write only opinion pieces.

Yesterday Fox News had Juanita Broaddrick on who could not believe that some of the same Senators who denied her accusations of being raped by Bill Clinton are among those saying that the current allegations against Judge Kavanaugh need to be taken seriously.

P.S. Good to see you blogging again CJ.
