At "The Lincoln Project", they have discarded all their previous principles, so why not discriminate on the basis of race? Democrats do that all the time, and these never-Trumpers are Democrats now.
That's what's hard to understand, Katherine. I get why Democrats and the news media, if you'll pardon the redundancy, don't like Trump; every Republican elected to the presidency becomes Hitler at some point. I just don't see why so many "Republicans" and "conservatives" willfully and intentionally have such a hard time with the whole idea. Except for the rabble refusing to accept instruction from their superiors or something.
I mean, if you seriously try to pass Mitt Romney off as a genuine "conservative," Donald Trump is basically inevitable.
