The Airhead, one of Joe's "top advisors," got all cranky.
Top Biden advisor and Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has called for complete defunding of police departments across the country. Significant cuts aren't enough.
So now Joe believes this.
During an interview Wednesday with leftist publication This Now, Biden said the police are over militarized, have "become the enemy" and said funding should "absolutely" be reallocated elsewhere. In other words, he's advocating for the defunding of law enforcement as crime across the country continues to skyrocket.
Good Lord. Joe's let the Airhead change his mind. By all means, let's make the old guy the leader of the free world. If Trump blows this, he deserves to lose.

Well, since polls (if you believe them) show even a majority of black Americans oppose defunding the police, Old Joe is contradicting his base. When police pull back or aren't there, people in black neighborhoods die in larger numbers. We've seen it time and time again. Already numerous children (real children, not late teens) have been shot dead.
"I have this theory. I think one reason why the Democrats Communists have gone so batcrap insane lately is that, deep down, they know they're going to get to get absolutely massacred this fall." Let's hope.
Chris, I've wondered about that-- that they're going ahead so as to at least move the needle WRT acceptable discourse on their way down, and thus later on they won't have as far to move themselves in order to appear to have compromised-- and by that illusion fool enough of the people enough of the time to get back in power. And depressingly few people pause to think about it, or they'd realize that most of this crap should never have been given an ear in the first place. We saw how this played out in TEO...
I think you're on to something, Sybil. It's probably the last arrow in the left's quiver between a possibility, however slight, of power and several decades in the desert.
