RODGE?

You've already lost me.  And Oakland and San Diego, probably.  But here's a still-intense NFL fan who's now having SERIOUS doubts about the current direction of the Shield.

Just wanted to let you know that all is most emphatically not well.

If you read nothing else today, read Jeff's thread.

UPDATE: Here's another one, Rodge.  Dry rot, big dog.

My husband may watch some Green Bay football, if there's a season. The habits of a lifetime die hard. But I really don't care any more. They're pouring money into the Marxist and destructive BLM movement. This does no one any good, least of all the average black American.

Yeah and for what? For a few moments approval from the left, they're going to alienate the very people who were their most passionate fans. The Shield's killed three great football markets. The one I live in, of course. Considering how mediocre the Cardinals mostly were, it still amazes me that my hometown stayed with the Big Red as long as we did. The Cardinals barely factored in here during the Rams Super Bowl-winning seasons, '99-2003, give or take. Then you have San Diego. For over sixty years, a passionate football town. Then San Diego wouldn't build them a free stadium and now the Chargers are not filling an LA soccer stadium and won't much like being Stan Kroenke's bitches. Then there's Oakland, California who lost the same team twice.
