No more effective form of environmental protest can be conceived, never mind actually pulled off, than causing tens of thousands of people to sit in traffic on a work day while their cars idle more and more Bad StuffTM into the atmosphere. Mad props, hippies.

Yup. Plus public school students and their teachers out on a school day. Complete waste of time; worse than that, misuse of time, money, and gasoline.
