And the problem with this is what exactly? Bloomie's little "news organization" recently came out and declared that it wasn't going to investigate Democratic presidential candidate anymore and that it was now, for all practical purposes, the Democratic Party's Völkischer Beobachter.
What the hell would you do?

Meh. I'd give them credentials and then just refer to it as Citizen Kane's paper which can't even be trusted for opera reviews.
Frankly, maybe the press should just dump the objectivity posture and be like pre-20th century papers that told you point-blank what their position was and stuck to it.
It would be better if they'd all just acknowledge their biases. This business of pretending to be "objective" offends me. On the Twitter feed Chris linked to, there are idiots complaining about "First Amendment violations" because Trump doesn't hold formal White House briefings any more. They think we're stupid, evidently. He gives impromptu press briefings frequently, with the helicopter blades whirling in the background. They don't get their heroic video clips from that, and that's their real complaint.
Meanwhile, in other late-breaking news, Kamala Harris announced that she is dropping out of the presidential race.
Scott W and Katherine-- agree wholeheartedly.
