SCHADENFREUDE

Democrats?  Some of us tried to warn you.  What goes around...

The DOJ has just informed the House Judiciary committee and Nancy Pelosi, using Fast and Furious as a reference, that Attorney General William Barr and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross will not be prosecuted for contempt.

“The Department of Justice’s long-standing position is that we will not prosecute an official for contempt of Congress for declining to provide information subject to a presidential assertion of executive privilege,” Deputy Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen wrote in a letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).

Rosen pointed to Trump’s assertion of executive privilege in his letter to Pelosi on Wednesday. And he highlighted DOJ declining to prosecute officials during previous administrations, such as former Attorney General Eric Holder after the House voted to hold him in contempt in 2012."

None of you can even remotely understand how happy I am right now.

WRT the census question: The 14th is pretty clear that the apportionment of representatives shall be based on the count of citizens. But nobody is discussing that. Why not? Now, I do understand that the folks with lots of illegals want to count them to further representation. But why isn't Barr pushing the 14th?
