I recall a panel of media giant execs including HBO and NPR and at one point the discussion turned to the failure of Air America, the radio network that was the liberal answer to Rush Limbaugh et al. The HBO exec said it failed because there was already a free liberal network, NPR. The NPR exec was aghast and protested that NPR wasn't biased. The HBO exec just said, "Yeah, keep telling yourself that."
