Today the news media are trumpeting an email which supposedly says the White House insisted on a hold on aid to Ukraine. I don't care. For one thing, the aid was delivered within the parameters of the law authorizing it. For another, taking a hard look at a country with rampant corruption problems before delivering aid sounds to me like it's in our nation's best interests. The talk about Democrat families' involvement in the corruption was just icing on the cake.
The administration has recently begun cutting aid to the corrupt and violent Palestinian regime, in another instance. If only the previous administration had cared about corrupt use of American money!
