On the occasion of the 857th anniversary of the birth of Chinggis Khaan which fell on November 27, Mongolian band The Hu was awarded with the Order of Chinggis Khaan, the most prestigious and supreme state.
State Honored Artist of Mongolia B.Dashdondog, founder and producer of the band accepted the award from President Kh.Battulga on behalf of the Hu band as the band was on a tour across the US and Canada and could not attend the ceremony held last month in Ulaanbaatar.
Today, December 30, The Hu band members, who recently arrived home, received the Order of Chinggis Khaan in person from Head of the Office of President of Mongolia Z.Enkhbold at the State House.
