Don't be surprised by this. My own grandson, a 5 year old kindergartener at the time, was thrown out of school & had the cops called on him for drawing a picture of a cannon firing at the class bully. The public school system hereabouts has lost its collective mind. His parents quickly moved him to a local Catholic school.
Now, he still misbehaves from time to time for which they make him write a letter of apology including admitting whatever it was that he did that was wrong. (Mea culpa anyone?). But they do not call the cops.
You shock me, UR. A boy misbehaves? I shudder when I think of the stories I've heard of my husband and his brother getting into trouble when they were young. Their father used his belt on their behinds. They turned into constructive, responsible adults.
